The Role: The Brand Manager – KLH is responsible for owning and managing the KLH product portfolio, with a focus on a highly curated assortment of performance-driven audio products sold through specialty retailers, independent dealers, and direct-to-consumer channels worldwide. This role leads product lifecycle execution from concept through launch and in-market management, translates technical audio features into clear and credible product positioning, and supports dealer and trade focused initiatives. Working closely with Product Development, Creative Services, Sales, and Marketing, the Brand Manager ensures products are thoughtfully positioned, accurately represented, and consistently executed across all customer-facing touchpoints.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Own the management of the KLH product portfolio, including product positioning, lifecycle planning, and long-term assortment strategy, maintaining a focused and highly curated lineup.
  • Lead product lifecycle execution from concept through launch, in-market management, and end-of-life decisions, with an emphasis on quality, performance, and brand integrity.
  • Define and maintain product positioning, feature sets, and value propositions tailored to specialty audio retailers, independent dealers, and direct-to-consumer channels.
  • Gather and analyze consumer, retailer, and market insights to inform product assortment decisions and brand strategy.
  • Serve as the primary owner of product-facing information, ensuring accuracy across packaging, manuals, dealer materials, product listings, and internal systems.
  • Lead cross-functional go-to-market planning for new product launches, coordinating with Product Development, Creative Services, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Partner with Creative Services to guide packaging, content, and marketing asset development that reflects KLH’s heritage and performance-driven positioning.
  • Support dealer-facing initiatives, including product training, sell-in materials, and independent retailer needs.
  • Lead trade show and partner demo planning and execution support, including product messaging, booth content, demos, and presentation materials.
  • Own competitive analysis and market research focused on the high-end and specialty audio landscape to inform roadmap and portfolio decisions.
  • Manage product master data and documentation within internal enterprise systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment across internal teams and external partners.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, from development through launch and in-market support.
  • Strong understanding of the business fundamentals behind product decisions, including pricing, margins, channel strategy, and portfolio tradeoffs.
  • Ability to translate complex, technical audio features into clear, credible messaging for specialty retailers, dealers, and direct-to-consumer audiences.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a detail-oriented, high-expectation environment.
  • Familiarity with Stage-Gate, Agile, and other product development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365, project management tools, and product development systems.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA preferred.
  • Working knowledge of consumer audio technologies, acoustic concepts, and audio signal paths preferred.
  • Ability to travel to support trade shows, dealer events, customer presentations, and company events.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Denver, CO office.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or a related role, preferably 3+ years in consumer electronics and audio.
  • Prior experience working with audio products, acoustic technologies, or specialty consumer electronics strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners, with a strong understanding of product development processes.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to utilize standard office equipment such as a laptop, mouse, headset, printer, etc.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing between 25-50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for 0-2 hours per day and sit 2-8 hours per day.
  • This position occasionally requires bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, or pulling and is occasionally exposed to loud noises and vibrations.
  • This position occasionally requires moving in repetitive motions.
  • This position is rarely exposed to hazards and extreme temperatures.
