ResponsibilitiesAbout the team:
SoundOn is a platform powered by TikTok to help new and independent music creators distribute their music globally.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues across distribution, content moderation, and DSP delivery workflows.
- Own and optimize the end-to-end music distribution workflow, including release setup, metadata management, DSP delivery, and content moderation.
- Establish and continuously improve SOPs to ensure efficient and scalable release operations across multiple regions and DSPs.
- Deeply understand label service needs and translate them into scalable operational processes and product requirements.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to inform product and operational strategy.
- Support resolution of royalty, split, and accounting-related issues.
QualificationsMinimum Qualification(s):
- Over 5 years of work experience in technology, music, and entertainment industry.
- Maintain strong knowledge of our tech stack, proprietary systems, label services, products, and processes.
- Deep knowledge of all operations tied to product development, music and digital distribution infrastructure.
- Experience working with product management.
- Proficiency in English communication and presentation.
Preferred Qualification(s):
- Prior experience in label services is preferred, with a strong understanding of label needs and proven experience supporting labels in music distribution, release management, and artist services.
- Great attitude, incredible passion and enthusiasm for people, technology, process, and music.

Job Information【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $151050 - $364800 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
