Sound Engineer

Join a dynamic music production team focused on delivering high-quality audio content and driving innovation in music technology. This role is ideal for an audio engineer with a passion for music education and a keen interest in applied AI. You will be responsible for hands-on audio production, editing, and mixing, while also researching and implementing emerging AI tools to enhance music creation workflows. The position offers the flexibility to work remotely on a full-time or part-time basis, providing the opportunity to contribute to a leading platform in music education and technology.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and deliver polished audio files and tracks for diverse music projects
• Mix, edit, and enhance audio content, ensuring optimal balance, dynamics, and sound quality
• Research, evaluate, and implement new AI tools and technologies to improve audio production workflows
• Work with sheet music files and notation software, making score adjustments and ensuring accurate alignment between scores and audio
• Collaborate with creative and production teams to meet both artistic and technical requirements

Skills And Requirements

• Strong background in sound engineering, audio production, music technology, or a related field
• Ability to read sheet music and solid knowledge of music theory; proficiency with at least one instrument and a genuine interest in music learning and education
• Hands-on experience with creating, editing, mixing, and delivering high-quality audio productions, including the use of AI-powered tools for music creation and audio processing
• Demonstrated interest in AI applications for music and audio, with curiosity for emerging technologies
• Classically trained background is a plus, but not required
• Experience with Sibelius and Melodyne is a plus, but not required
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills for effective project coordination
