Insight Global is seeking a Business Development Director / Senior Director to join an innovative music technology company transforming how artists, listeners, and platforms engage with radio and streaming content. This individual will play a critical role in driving strategic partnerships, licensing agreements, and platform integrations that expand the reach of the company's audio products and technology offerings. This is a highly autonomous, relationship-driven role ideal for a professional with deep connections across the music, streaming, audio technology, and digital media industries. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of closing complex partnership and business development deals while navigating long enterprise sales cycles. Key Responsibilities Music Industry Licensing & Business Development Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to sell group licensing solutions to music labels, publishers, distributors, and promotional organizations. Leverage existing industry relationships to generate new business opportunities and accelerate partnership conversations. Present and position innovative music technology and content offerings to prospective clients. Negotiate commercial agreements and drive deals from initial outreach through execution. Manage and grow strategic relationships across the music ecosystem. Platform Partnerships & Integration Strategy Identify, pursue, and secure integration opportunities with streaming services, internet radio companies, connected-audio platforms, and automotive infotainment providers. Lead partnership discussions involving both technology integrations (SDKs, APIs, audio engines) and content distribution opportunities. Collaborate with legal, product, and technical teams to support partnership implementation. Navigate enterprise sales cycles and stakeholder management processes involving business, technical, and compliance teams. Drive distribution opportunities that expand audience reach and platform adoption.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Digital Media, Content Partnerships, Licensing, or a related field. Background within the music industry, music technology, streaming media, digital content, or audio technology sectors. Demonstrated success developing and closing B2B partnerships and commercial agreements. Strong network of relationships within music labels, publishers, distributors, streaming platforms, audio technology providers, or related organizations. Experience managing complex partnership negotiations and long sales cycles. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience selling SaaS, media technology, marketing technology, data platforms, or digital content solutions. Prior experience with platform integrations, content licensing, OEM partnerships, or distribution agreements. Knowledge of streaming services, internet radio, connected-audio ecosystems, and digital music distribution. Experience working with emerging technologies, startup environments, or high-growth organizations. Understanding of APIs, SDKs, or technical partnership frameworks is highly preferred.
