Artist Relations & Music Technology Specialist [211463]
Aquent
Title: UK Specialist, Artist Relations & Music Technology (12-Month Contract)
Location: South-West London, UK (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week (Tues – Thurs) minimum, with event flexibility)
Client Type: Premier Global Technology & Music Entertainment Ecosystem
We are seeking a culturally fluent, highly charismatic Artist Relations & Music Technology Specialist to step into a 12-month contract role as the local face of our client's global creator ecosystem. Operating out of an iconic, state-of-the-art flagship studio hub in South London, you will act as the direct proxy for our US-based leadership team.
This isn’t a traditional corporate desk job; you will be the bridge where cutting-edge hardware, proprietary software, and elite musical talent collide. You will inspire and educate the creative community—ranging from grass-roots non-profits to the world’s biggest streaming artists—on the future of music production, immersive sound, and creative tools.
What’s In It For You
- Unrivalled Exposure: Work directly with top-tier global talent, legendary producers, and emerging tastemakers.
- World-Class Environment: Spend your days inside one of the most technologically advanced, state-of-the-art studio facilities in the world.
- Culture & Scale: Join a legendary global brand at a time of accelerated creative activation in Europe.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as the Local Proxy: Own the execution of high-profile studio activations, masterclasses, and community programs when global leadership is travelling.
- Drive Ecosystem Evangelism: Showcase and demystify proprietary music creation tools (Logic Pro, GarageBand) and advanced features like Spatial Audio/Immersive sound to visiting artists and cohorts.
- Host with Presence: Bring a “readable host vibe”—exuding the charisma, confidence, and baseline technical fluency required to engage effortlessly with artists, managers, and executives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner smoothly with experiential, live production, and facility teams to ensure 360-degree seamless delivery of studio moments.
What You’ll Bring
- Studio Literacy: A strong fundamental understanding of Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs like Logic, Ableton, Pro Tools, or FL Studio) paired with a deep tech-ops curiosity to master proprietary hardware/software integration.
- Elite Network & EQ: Exceptional emotional intelligence with proven experience navigating studio environments, label politics, and artist management circles.
- True Agility: Total flexibility to shift schedules. While a standard hybrid routine applies (typically Tue-Thu), you must be ready to work Fridays or late hours to support live artist activations and real-time cultural moments.
- Cultural Pulse: A genuine, infectious passion for UK and global music culture, trends, and the creative process.
- This role is open for a limited time. Next steps will be shared with shortlisted candidates ASAP. Due to the high volume of applicants, we may be unable to reply to each applicant individually.
