Position overview 

SymphoMe is seeking a skilled and innovative Audio Software Engineer Intern to join our team. You will be maintaining our audio engine and work a variety of advanced solutions to upgrade our AI automatic assessment. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of music education through technology. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in C++, JUCE framework and low-latency real-time audio applications.

Key requirements

  • Relevant experience:

    • A Bachelor or Master's degree in either Audio/Sound engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or any closely related technical field.

    • Some level of industry experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.

  • Good knowledge of modern C++ (C++17 or newer).

  • Strong communication, teamwork and a proactive mindset.

  • Attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Experience with JUCE framework.

  • Experience developing real-time audio applications.

  • Understanding of low-latency audio programming.

  • Understanding of MIDI and related protocols.

  • Understanding of multithreading and concurrent programming.

  • Experience with Git.

  • Experience developing applications for mobile platforms (iOS and/or Android) is a plus.Key requirements
