About the Role

Reports to: General Manager (H.O.M.E)

Location: H.O.M.E (House of Music and Entertainment), Spitalfields, London E1

Hours: Full-time, standard office hours, Monday to Friday, on-site. Due to the nature of the role, hybrid or remote working is not possible. Flexibility to support events (occasional evenings and weekends).

About H.O.M.E

H.O.M.E (House of Music and Entertainment) is a home for the independent music and music-tech industry: a community, a network and a space where people across the industry come together to work.

Connecting our members with each other is central to what we do, opening up opportunities to collaborate, share knowledge, and find the clients, tools and support to grow their businesses.

Alongside our workspace we run a busy programme of events. We have sites in London, Berlin and Tokyo, with a new UK site opening in Liverpool in September 2026.

Backed by BSI Merch & Artist Services, we combine the feel of an independent community with the support of an established industry partner.

The role

This is a coordinator role at the centre of the London operation. You would support the smooth day-to-day operation of the space, help build and look after our members and community, and support events, marketing and admin across the week. It would suit someone with experience in a comparable environment who is comfortable working independently and happy to use their initiative.

It is a genuine all-rounder role. Where projects need extra hands or specialist input, from larger events through to bigger campaigns, we can draw on support from our parent company, BSI Merch & Artist Services. The day-to-day sits with the team, and on larger pieces of work we collaborate.

Where it can go

H.O.M.E is expanding across the UK, with further sites planned for 2027. As the company grows, so do the opportunities within it, both within the London site and more widely. For the right person, there is real scope to grow.

What the role covers

Facilities and operations. Supporting the day-to-day running of the space: deliveries, stock, supplier liaison, and meeting-room and venue-hire enquiries and bookings. Helping keep our health, safety and compliance up to date.

Members and community. Building genuine relationships with members, being a regular and personable presence in the space, getting to know what people work on, and helping make the right connections across the community.

Events. H.O.M.E runs events most weeks, from our own programming to partner activations. Hosting and coordinating on the night, and supporting planning and delivery, with more responsibility over time.

Marketing. Contributing content ideas, handling day-to-day community engagement on our social channels, creating content and building newsletters, and helping pull together reporting. This is a role supporting delivery rather than owning strategy.

Finance and admin. Handling invoices, expenses and receipts.

Who we are looking for

Experience matters, but how you work matters more. The following are essential:

  • Experience in a comparable environment, such as coworking, hospitality, events or membership
  • Strong organisational and self-management skills, able to plan and prioritise your own workload
  • Confident using project-management tools to organise and track your work
  • High attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
  • A clear, confident communicator who checks understanding and raises questions or issues early
  • Comfortable working independently and using your initiative
  • A genuine interest in people and in building community
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends around events

Desirable:

  • An interest in or experience of the music or creative industries
  • Events experience, including planning, hosting or on-the-night coordination
  • Social media, content creation or newsletter experience
  • Experience with CRM tools, particularly Monday.com, is a bonus (we can teach you our systems)
  • Experience with coworking space or booking software (e.g. Nexudus)
